Yeah, I decided to take a day to build suspense. But since the you probably figured that this giant wasp looks like the last giant wasp, I'm not sure it worked so well. I'm not sure where Orleans is. I think I just looked through the list of French city names from Civilization.
And the font returns to normal. And back in the early days of the Internet, there wasn't a Wikipedia. Google was just a few months old. If you wanted to find something, your best bet was to know where a similar site was and navigate through webrings. Or just put a .com at the end of it and hope it took you somewhere relevant. Half the Internet was just there to tell you how to get to the other half. The Internet, and the way people use it, has changed enough that this joke isn't really relevant anymore.

Yes, that's BASIC. If you pay close attention, you'll notice that Brisbane was (a) holding the mallet and (b) telling everyone else to smash it. I'm going to pretend that's intentional.
Using letters that my readers can't pronounce and can't be found in any fonts I had wasn't my best idea. I wrote the letter myself scanned it, and pasted it in as needed. "Doesn't that make everything twice as difficult as it ought to be?" wasn't a question I asked myself at any point during this.
