And thus began the second of what I call the Name Trilogy - three long stories centering on new characters, Nina, Hodges, and Emily.

I think that's Folkard. It was a bit of a hassle to give Hodges his own font, but I think it was worth it. This is one of the best character introduction comics I had done, I think. This summarizes Hodges pretty much completely.

"And just how do I work on looking better in a straw hat?". I love that line.

And yes, it's a week of alternating artists. Drawing comics takes up a lot of time, and one of them was up to doing two or three comics that week. I can't remember the exact circumstances, and they're probably not that interesting. But this it was planned like this. It worked quite well; I think Rachel and Orochi's styles complement each others'. I'm surprised I didn't do this more often.

I think this started as a one-shot joke about a badly-fitted shirt. Funny how things progress sometimes.
