In the edited run, this week was cut (because it had to do with Sofia's disguises), and the ending of the arc didn't make much sense. This one is named after "Judy in Disguise (with Glasses)" by John Fred and his Playboy Band.

So, yeah. I tried to rework the "disguise" angle while leaving it in place. Still, switching artists every week made this impractical.

And yes, true to their word, nobody ever spoke of this ever again. You'd think that it would've come up again. Instead the Big Things from this arc were Kimberly being angry at Brisbane, and Brisbane owing Caleb a favor.

And Sofia finally gets the orange hair color. I believe I came across it when I was shading and lightening her old hair color repeatedly. She's kept it ever since. It works very well for her, I think.

I think this is the best princess-related strip I've done. Really shows Sofia's nicer side, which wasn't highly visible. Like Caleb, she had a reason for what she did, but it wasn't always obvious to folks around her. I wish there were a few more comics like this.
