Yes, it's around 7 PM.
Kimberly didn't have a two-person couch the previous night. It was a major plot point, in fact. I'm going to say that she ordered it during one of her fits of sleeplessness, and had it delivered the same day. It represents her new openness and willingness to let people into her life. I'm not sure if I consciously decided that or if it was a subconscious thing where I forgot her apartment layout and re-envisioned it in a newer format that would allow the presence of a second person. Either one would be appropriate.
The arc's title is from "Dusty Old Dust (so long it's been good to know you)", a Woody Guthrie song.
What crazy hours does Emily work? She left for lunch at 2PM and got back some time around 4 or 5, if my time estimate are correct. Now it's about 8PM and she's being asked to work late. I'm going to assume that her place of employment is ok with a 3-hour lunch as long as she finishes her day's work.
Kimberly and Emily's high-school history has remained half-written. I've lost my notes on it, if I ever did write them down. I realized that Emily had conflicted with Kimberly's boyfriends before at least once, though.
