The line would've been better if it were "If I were to plan something, I'd do it at a slightly classier chili place".
I specified it be a #73 bus, as a reference to the Robyn Hitchcock song DeChirico Street. If there's one thing I enjoy, it's putting in references that nobody will get.
I don't think I ever got on a bus just to see where it went. If I were a bit more adventurous and hadn't had Internet access, I may have started doing that when I was younger.
