Yes, Sofia's backstory finally becomes relevant. She went to a prestigious foreign school, and it had been "suggested" that she transfer to somewhere far, far away. I believe that I was writing a term paper at the time, which is why Sofia is too.

Sofia's orange hair color is Brisbane's hair color, shaded differently, as I recall it. Eventually, I just started with that orange, but I think I was still doing it the hard way at this point (which is why it's a bit inconsistant throughout this week)
