A few years later, I learned to shade properly.
I remember having an extra-large version of this comic up so you could read that the crates say "Upsidaisium, -100kg" (a floating metal, from Rocky & Bullwinkle), "Eonite" (which is from Little Orphan Annie - cheap and indestructible), and "Boston Winter Oranges" (which I have no recollection of whatsoever).
The hardest part was writing Peter's dialogue so that it's obvious that the sentence is missing something, but that it still makes sense when the subject was removed.
Again, one of the ascot sight gags. I don't think I gave very good stage directions on this one; it took me a while to figure out how much action could fit in each panel. Mind you, Grosse did an amazing job with this. I'm just saying that he deserves all the credit for this comic working.
I think I meant for Brisbane to tell Kimberly that he's too clever for her plans. He didn't, but he should've. But yes, it takes Brisbane one kiss to go from a full head of steam to panic. I love the way this comic turned out. Kimberly vs. Brisbane pt 2
