I wasn't sure if I was ready to end it, but I didn't think I'd be able to continue doing it either. In retrospect, it's obvious that the comic is on a trajectory towards an ending. I was taking a lot of time about it because I was afraid if I hurried things, the conversations would turn wrong and Brisbane and Kimberly wouldn't end up together.
So, what does Brisbane want? Again, he's not competing with Kimberly or with Peter & Friends any more. If he wanted to impress Nina, he could just go to the library and talk to her. The previous week seems to shift the perspective of the comic; the viewpoint character is Kimberly instead of Brisbane, so his motivations are slightly hidden, the same way Kimberly's were at the beginning of this.
Goliath, the manager who doesn't show up much. Like Caleb, he ran out of things to do as the comic centered on Brisbane and Kimberly's relationship. Unlike Caleb, I didn't feel obligated to have him show up every few months as a reminder.
I had forgotten that Emily had to get back to work. So has she, apparently. I wish I had remembered so Kimberly could mention it.
